“The Composers Club has been successfully representing
the interests of composers of film and audio-visual music in Germany
for the past 17 years. Now that markets have opened up and many
decisions regarding vital interests of artists are made on a European
level, The Composers Club is glad to be among the founding members
and now part of the new pan-European organisation FFACE.
The national film and audio-visual composer organisations unite their
power and voices in FFACE in order to be able to take part in European
decisions. The Composers Club's hopes are to create an environment
without frontiers where music is not treated as just bits and bytes but is
also recognized as art and valued for its cultural and social aspects.
